Bath & Body Works One Day Candle Sale

It's the most anticipated day of the year for all the Bath and Body Work candle fanatics when all the 3-wicks go on sale for $9.50 a pop. That's right, we're talking about candles that are originally $24.50 going on sale for a steal! Crazy right? To be quite honest, I wasn't a candle fanatic until just recently when Thanksgiving was approaching...

My Mom and I were in search of the perfect holiday scent. A scent that smelled like you were baking a nice warm pumpkin pie with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. I was honestly growing tired of the typical Glade candles and went online doing my own research and happened to come across the wonderful community of BBW candle reviewers on YT. Wow, I never realized how passionate some people were when it came to candles, that I began to immerse myself with as much candle knowledge and lingo that I could possibly take in. I couldn't believe that I found myself actually getting into this that I immediately set up a BBW account and started adding candles into my cart one by one, day after day. In fact, I found myself at a cross roads wondering if I was better off taking advantage of the "Buy 3 get 3 free", the "Buy 2 get 2 free" deal, or waiting to brave the rain and rush to the store as early as 5AM for Candle Day! What I ended up doing was avoiding all and opting to start continue shopping online the day prior  and start as soon as they allowed it on their site at 7PM PST.

The first hour was calm, but after a few hours, I was afraid that people would break the store site reminiscent of what happened recently during the launch of Jeffrey Star's makeup collab with Shane Dawson. That was ridiculous, however after leaving my PC to grab a bite to eat, I later came back to receive technical difficulties navigating the site and having a couple of the candles that I had added to my cart immediately selling out like hot cakes. My anxiety grew and I knew I had to make my purchase soon before every candle was gone. I originally had 12 candles in my cart, but I sacrificed a few despite this sale only being once a year. I figured that since I'm still a newbie in pursuit of a good smelling candle with a good throw, I'll start off basic with some holiday scents that I may not see again and a couple for aromatherapy. Fragrance: Cool Peppermint, Sugared Snow, Vanilla Buttercream, Fresh Balsam, Hint of Musk w/Essential Oils

Fragrance: Crisp Pine Needle, Warm Cedar, Spiced Apple w/Essential Oils

Fragrance: Watermelon Ice, Sparkling Water, Meyer Lemon w/Essential Oils

Fragrance: Maple Syrup, Golden Waffles, Pumpkin Spice, Brown Sugar w/Essential Oils

It didn't take very long for all these candles to sell out so I'm glad I didn't wait any longer to buy them. I'd say this sale is definitely one to take advantage of. You have a limit of 15 so bring a friend or family member with you if you want more! Come prepared! Hopefully these will last me the year!
