The Perfect Sweetener

Love me some Organic Hibiscus Tea

After a long work week and running off of a cup of mojo every single morning, my weekends are mostly spent catching up on life with a cup 'o tea...

Having a cup of Organic Hibiscus tea w/a sprinkle of Born Sweet Zing Organic Stevia
On the weekends, I like to change it up depending on my mood. Green tea has always been a go-to of mine as we all know, green tea is loaded with antioxidants and nutrients that have powerful effects on the body. This has certainly powered me through my mornings giving me natural energy most especially through my workouts.

However, one of my current favorite teas at the moment is the Organic Hibiscus tea by Traditional Medicinals that I recently ordered through Amazon. I'm all about kosher herbal supplements and this one is known to support the cardiovascular system. Now, I'm the type of person that doesn't always have to add milk or sugar to my coffees or teas for that extra flavor or kick, but somedays I'm just like "oh man I need some sugar and don't want to crash!", so rather than add the unnecessary, I'll add a few sprinkles of Zing Organic by Born Sweet Zing. Hibiscus tea is known to be a bit tart and tangy with a bit of sass so this stevia is the perfect sweetener to balance out this flower's personality!

This stevia sweetener is vegan friendly and has zero calories so I don't feel guilty adding this into my coffee or tea. It gives a great balance and doesn't make me feel like the way I do after eating donuts on a cheat day. One thing I notice is that it doesn't have an aftertaste which is great! It doesn't take much of this stuff to sweeten your beverages or food and the packets are good size as well! One packet of this stuff actually equates to 2 packets (2 teaspoons) of sugar. The ingredients are organic dextrose and organic stevia leaf extract. For all the nutrition facts, click here

If you're also into baking, the Born Sweet Zing Organic stevia sweetener is available in a 20 oz. cannister Baking Blend. Just remember, a little goes a long way! If you are looking for an alternative sweetener, definitely give this a whirl and see how you like it!
