Ahh, San Diego. What's not to love about my good 'ol hometown? One place that always comes to mind is Seaport Village. This tourist spot is an amazing waterfront where you can dine, shop, or just visit and relax. It's a place that travelers and myself love to frequent as it's located on the west harbor in the heart of Downtown.
A relaxing place indeed, Seaport Village was a place that my girlfriend Ruby and I would often visit along with her son. One great spot to grab a bite to eat there is good 'ol Joe's Crab Shack which is actually right behind the San Diego Convention Center. Usually, whenever Ruby and I would hang out during the week, we'd try different places to eat that we've never dined at together. This happened to be just one of them. It's a great place to haul your family and friends for a few good drinks over some yummy seafood.
Speaking of good drinks, the best way I found to get a meal crackin' was to try their new Pop Rock Strawberry Frozen Margarita. What an exciting way to get started right? As soon as you pour the packet into the drink, you definitely hear and see the explosion all over your table! It was entertaining indeed not only for myself, but for Ruby's son that sat across from me ;) The Pop Rocks brought back nostalgic memories from my childhood days when I used to purchase them from the ice cream man that would drive through my neighborhood every day. What a fun way to bring them back!
With live shows and sunshine making the perfect combination, there's always something to take advantage of at Seaport everyday. From their talented cast of street performers, resident Balloon Artist to their Historic Carousel and horse drawn-carriage, you can make memories here that you'll never forget as it's a place that has pleasures for the whole family.
If you ever make your way out to sunny San Diego, make sure to stop by this amazing waterfront village as I'm sure you'll find plenty to do under the sun. I guarantee you, it's just as much fun in the daytime as it is at night ;)

ReplyDeleteAhh yea, I definitely LoVe San Diego! Now that I've experienced living in the south (Texas to be exact) for about 6 months, I appreciate my hometown so much more now than I ever did before. It's truly a great place to live and even visit if you ever get the chance to take a vacay ;)
